Split Account Structure

A Split Account consists of a group of wallets dedicated to different purposes. The following diagram aims to explain the main structure of wallets for a Split Account configuration:

Split Account:

This is the primary account that contains all the wallets linked to the marketplace/platform and their associated profile wallets. It is identified by a splitaccount_id, which is essential for making API calls related to the Split Account API functionalities.

Platform/Marketplace Wallet Account:

Known as the "default wallet," this is the central wallet where all funds from accepted transactions are deposited. It has a unique identifier called default_wallet_id.

Partner Wallet Account:

These wallets are designated to hold and distribute funds to the merchants, partners, or sellers associated with the platform/marketplace. Each wallet is uniquely identified by its own wallet_id.
