Create Accounts
Setting up new accounts is a straightforward process with our create accounts endpoint. Newly created accounts will have a 'Pending' status until approved. Once approved, the status will change to 'Active'
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Accounts
Initiate the Account Creation:
- Utilise the "Create Accounts" endpoint to begin the process.
- Ensure all required fields are accurately filled out. These typically include business name, contact information, and any other necessary details.
Account Status - 'Pending':
- Once the account creation request is submitted, the new account will have a 'Pending' status.
- This status indicates that the account information is under review and awaiting approval.
Review and Approval Process:
- During the 'Pending' phase, our team will review the submitted information for accuracy and compliance.
- Additional documentation or information may be requested to complete the verification process.
Status Update to 'Active':
- Upon successful review and approval, the account status will change from 'Pending' to 'Active'.
- An 'Active' status means the account is fully operational and can access all available features and services.
Notifications and Communication:
- The account holder will receive notifications throughout the process, including when the account is moved to 'Pending' status and once it is approved and becomes 'Active'.
- Any requests for additional information or documentation will also be communicated via email or through the account dashboard.
Additional Information
The 'Create Account' endpoint enables the creation of new accounts in the system. Users must provide the type, currency, and alias for the new account.
NOTE: When creating a Wallet, ensure that a Master Account is created beforehand. A Master Account ID is required for Wallet creation. Wallet accounts bypass the "pending" status and are immediately created with an 'Active' status.
